2011 DiversityBusiness.com Award

04/20/2011 - Zantech has been selected as one of the Top 100 Businesses in the United States by DiversityBusiness.com, for a second year in a row. Zia Islam, Zantech’s President and CEO, was presented with the award at the 11th Annual Business Awards Ceremony and Conference held on April 20, 2011 at the Gaylord National Resorts on the Potomac in Maryland. The award, known as the Top 100 Businesses for 2011, recognizes the nation’s most successful privately-held businesses for their overall leadership and economic achievements. Zantech was recognized in each of the following five award categories:

• Top 100 8(a) Businesses in the U.S

• Top 500 Asian Owned Businesses in the U.S

• Top 100 Subcontinent Asian American Businesses in the U.S

DOD TFBSO Contract Award

01/10/2011 - Zantech was recently awarded a contract to provide Strategic, Technical, and Analytical Support Services to the Department of Defense (DoD) Task Force for Business and Stability Operations (TFBSO). Zantech will provide advisory services, technical assessment, training materials, and other non-personal services in support of the design, implementation and operation of energy development and access projects in Afghanistan. Zantech personnel will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, developing, structuring, presenting, and help to close opportunities which increase the supply of energy and maximize the ancillary benefits (employment, economic activity, agricultural expansion, and improved living conditions) for the local population. The initial value of this contract is $10.5 million, with options for additional support services.

Zantech on Columbus Technologies’ NASA SES Team

12/01/2010 - Zantech’s team member on Columbus Technologies’ was awarded a contract for Software Engineering Support (SES) to NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Under this five year $250M program, Zantech will support Columbus in providing for the design, development, test, and deployment of software; data and information systems for the aerospace missions within the Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate at Goddard.

When notified of this award, Zantech’s CEO Zia Islam said, “We are excited for the opportunity to work with Columbus and are looking forward to providing them and their Goddard customers with the very best in software engineering support.”
