07/26/2010 - Zantech is pleased to announce that the Small Business Administration (SBA) has approved its application to establish a Mentor Protégé (MP) relationship with Capstone Corporation. The SBA Mentor-Protégé Program is designed to encourage approved Mentors, such as Capstone, to provide various forms of assistance to eligible 8(a) certified Protégés, which can enhance their capabilities and improve their ability to successfully compete for federal contracts. As a leading Federal Government and Defense contractor, Capstone personnel will collaborate closely with Zantech staff to provide advice and counsel in the areas of management, technical, financial, business development, contracting, and administrative assistance.
As one element of its MP relationship, Zantech and Capstone have established a Joint Venture (JV) partnership known as ZCSolutions, LLC, a Virginia registered corporation. Using this SBA approved MP JV relationship, Zantech can compete for Federal programs with the credentials of a small business and the capabilities of a large business, thereby enhancing its competitiveness in the Federal market space.
“We are very gratified that our MP application has been approved and ZCS established,” said Zantech’s CEO Zia Islam, “and we look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership with our Mentor, Capstone, in developing our company and growing our two corporations’ businesses.”
