Aslam Nawabzada is Zantech's Chief Technology Officer, bringing over 20 years of seasoned technology and business leadership experience to drive strategic innovation and enterprise transformation. He is recognized for leveraging emerging technologies to solve complex business challenges and unlock new opportunities, with extensive knowledge of DHS agencies and a proven track record in managing large, mission-critical application portfolios focused on high availability, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency. His comprehensive experience spans strategic planning, consulting, IT management, business development, and product innovation across premier organizations.

Prior to joining Zantech, Aslam served as Senior Director at ECS and MAXIMUS, leading the Department of Homeland Security Account with responsibility for program portfolio delivery and account growth. His distinguished career includes Chief Technology Officer at Sevatec, Inc., where he developed the Innovation Center focused on Cloud Services, Cyber Engineering, and Data Analytics; Partner/Director at General Dynamics Information Technology delivering intelligent technology solutions; Senior Director of Digital Technology at The Washington Post managing applications serving millions of users; and 12+ years as Partner/Service Area Leader at IBM, earning the IBM Service Excellence Award and Americas Hundred Percent Club recognition.

Aslam holds an MBA from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, where he earned a Gold Medal. He is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdu. His technical expertise combined with business acumen enables him to effectively bridge the gap between complex technical solutions and strategic business objectives, making him invaluable in ensuring Zantech's continued technological innovation and operational excellence. A lifelong learner who speaks three languages, Aslam is passionate about connecting diverse cultures through technology and can often be found reading about emerging tech trends while enjoying chai with colleagues from around the world.

What's the best advice you've ever received, and how do you pass that wisdom on to the people around you?

“My father advised me that to be successful you have to be persistent, work smart and never judge and criticize people. Forgiveness is a great personality trait to have.”
